Random bits and bobs

Whilst flicking through the photo’s on my digital camera I noticed lots of crafty pics that I have taken and not had chance to post about so today’s post is going to be featured random bits and bobs I have made recently.

Next is a couple of things I made for Mr G’s birthday. The first is a manly necklace which ended up turning out better than I expected. I also made the bag to put it in…

Then I got 10 chocolates and a wooden box and created “10 things I love” about him. On the back of each chocolate was something I love about him. You get the idea!.
I also bought him guitar lessons so I made a voucher up with the details on and the lesson times and venue etc.

Next up is a set of glass jars filled with chocolates for Lili’s teachers at Easter. Decorated with wooden chicks covered in scrapbook paper.

The next two pics are of bracelets I made for my mum and mum in law for Mothers day (I told you these were random makes!. I have never made bracelets before so this was my first attempt definitely room for improvement but not as bad I thought!.

There are loads more to show but I won’t bore you all in one go I’ll save them for another post :-)

Button bracelet

Earlier this year my nan died (i'm full of joy this week aren't i!) and when my mum and her sisters were clearing out my Nans home there were lots of bits and bobs that my mum thought i could put to good crafting use.  In the bag was lots of spare buttons off clothes that she had kept over the years.  Last night i decided that it would be nice to make them into a bracelet and then give it back to my mum as a little something to keep.
