First item sold on folksy

I have just sold my first item on Folksy after recently opening an online shop on their site.  Zac the sock Zebra is now off to a new home.  I'm really happy that someone has bought him as he is my favourite make so far.  Florence the sock monkey won't be happy about it though.  Guess i'll have to make her a new sock buddy.
Well its a miserable rainy day here today but i'm off to Kent tomorrow to see my best friend. I can hardly control my excitement.  Lili is also very excited but only because she found out Kent is near the Queens Palace! She asked if we could pop round and say hello whilst we were near bless.

I have quite a few birthdays coming up over the next few months so i'm trying to get on top of my homemade gifts but the list keeps getting longer and longer.  The more blogs i look at the more ideas i get.  Must actually get round to finishing some of my project this month lol!.

Last night i made some homemade cookies to take to Kent at weekend.  This is my favourite receipe and is so easy to do.

I made a little tag and tied a ribbon round a glass storage jar bought from Poundland.  Filled it with homemade biscuits and voila.....

Recent makes

To start off my blog i thought i would upload some piccies of my recent craft makes. Pictures are always more interesting than words!!

Meet Zac the sock Zebra made out of a pair of mens sock. I took the traditional sock monkey pattern and adapted it to give hima bigger nose and sewed wool on for his mane. let me know what you think.

My First attempt!!

Ok here goes i have set up my blog (sort of!) and now i am thinking of something to write!!!. I'm not convinced this text is actually going to end up on my blog but we will see. Tonight i am hoping to finish some crafting bits and pieces including a cushion for my friends little boy and a felt bookmark for my little girl. I will be back later to upload photo's - watch this space.....
